BLACKPINK’s Lisa Makes K-pop History with 100 Million Instagram Followers, a First in the Industry

According to the Guinness World Records, Lisa has set the record for the ‘Most Instagram Followers for a K-pop Artist’ globally. Among Asians, Lisa ranks third in terms of followers.

Notably, Lisa’s achievement of 100 million followers took approximately 5 years and 6 months since her debut in 2018, surpassing the previous record of 5 years and 8 months held by Virat Kohli, making it the fastest in Asia.

In addition, according to marketing analysis firm HypeAuditor, BLACKPINK’s Lisa secured the 5th position on the Instagram Top Music Influencers chart.

Furthermore, Lisa ranked 9th on the Top 1000 Instagram Influencers chart. This chart includes prominent figures such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Lionel Messi, Beyoncé, Neymar, and others.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK, to which Lisa belongs, garnered attention recently for renewing their contract with YG Entertainment.
