BLACKPINK’s Ji-soo and her debut drama “Snowdrop” won the 2022 SEC Awards in Brazil 

BLACKPINK’s Ji-soo and the drama “Snowdrop” won awards in Brazil.

As a result of the 2-month public voting, Ji-soo won ‘Best Feature in Asian Series’ category at the 2022 Séries em Cen (SEC) Awards in São Paulo, Brazil. JTBC’s drama “Snowdrop” also won ‘Best Asian Series’. 

Ji-soo appeared as Eun Young-ro, a pure and cheerful first-year student in the English department of Hosu Women’s University, in “Snowdrop” (scripted by Yoo Hyun-mi/ directed by Jo Hyun-tak), which ended in January.

The Séries em Cen (SEC) Awards is a foreign awards ceremony that gives awards to the best TV series, movies, songs and celebrities every year. The winners are determined through a popularity vote that includes physical awards.

This year, more than 43 million votes were cast on Twitter and the award’s website for 50 categories of different fields, including drama, movie, music, and others, breaking the previous record of 30 million votes.
