Blackpink’s ‘Ice Cream’ surpasses 400 million streaming on Spotify

The group BLACKPINK achieved another meaningful record on the world’s largest music platform – Spotify.

According to the agency YG Entertainment on the 5th, Blackpink‘s ‘Ice Cream‘ surpassed 400 million streams on Spotify. After ‘Kill This Love’, ‘How You Like That’, and ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’, this is Blackpink‘s 4th song to reach this milestone.

‘Ice Cream’ is a song that Blackpink collaborated with world-famous pop star Selena Gomez. It was a cute and refreshing concept that the group tried for the first time, and it drew more attention because it was a pop genre song with a simple rhythm and light sound.

The song topped the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart right after its release, and reached #13 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, breaking the top ranking of K-pop girl groups.
