On January 27, 27 fanbases of BLACKPINK on Twitter simultaneously announced to rest without a clear explanation. Faced with this situation, Jisoo’s solo stans are showing their displeasure. According to Jisoo’s fans, BLINKs are showing an attitude against Jisoo and refusing to support her upcoming solo.

Many Jisoo’s fans are upset because Jisoo’s drama Snowdrop still has 2 episodes left, but many BLACKPINK fanbases are temporarily closed. This mass rest is probably aimed at pressuring YG to let BLACKPINK have a comeback. But there are also speculations that Jisoo herself teasing her solo at the fansign two days ago has caused this reaction of group fanbases. Previously, when asked by fans about going solo in 2022, Jisoo answered, “Definitely.”
