BLACKPINK X PUBG Mobile released 3D avatars of members and special music video

The MV for BLACKPINK’s collaboration with PUBG Mobile was released of the group’s special in-game concert.

On July 29th, the music video “Ready For Love”, a collaboration between BLACKPINK and famous video game PUBG mobile was dropped, drawing attention with 3D avatars of each member.

“Ready For Love” is an attractive song with a cool drop chorus that breaks the static flow of a piano performance. Previously, part of the song’s instrumental and performance was teased at BLACKPINK’s in-game concert, captivating both the eyes and ears of fans.

In addition, the music video presents a completely different experience with a clear narrative and a fantasy mise-en-scène. The three-dimensional sound stimulates the viewer’s five senses, while the virtual world’s space and time are sensibly unfolded, adding to the fun of watching the members’ 3D avatars, which melt into magnificent and splendid visuals.

Along with graphics featuring BLACKPINK’s existing hit music videos, easter eggs such as helmets, supply boxes, and energy drinks appeared everywhere, giving a different pleasure.

Talking about the in-game appearance of BLACKPINK, an official of PUBG mobile said: “We try to capture the image of Blackpink singing a song of hope over adversity. The flowers symbolized by Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa each play an important role, so please keep an eye on them.”

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK shared: “We are happy to collaborate withPUBG Mobile, which is loved all over the world. As we had a lot of fun working on the project, I hope that our fans can enjoy the special experience.”

BLACKPINK’s in-game concert “THE VIRTUAL” can be viewed again on PUBG Mobile from July 30th to 31st. BLACKPINK will then make a comeback as a whole group in August and go on “the largest world tour in the history of a girl group” at the end of 2022.
