A recent photo of all BLACKPINK members has warmed the hearts of fans
On November 24, BLACKPINK’s Rosé posted a group photo taken with Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo in the UK on her official social media account. In the released photo, the four members are making affectionate poses as they stood closely in what seems to be an elevator.
Meanwhile, all members of BLACKPINK recently attended the State Banquet held by King Charles III and were awarded MBE honors by the King himself.
MBE, or Member of the Order of the British Empire, is awarded to individuals who contribute to British society or excel in various fields. Besides BLACKPINK, artists such as The Beatles and singer Adele have also received this honor.
In her pose, Rosé expressed her honor at being officially invited to the Buckingham Palace dinner event and receiving the MBE. She also thanked BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s official fandom) for their sincere support.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK and YG Entertainment’s seven-year exclusive contract expired in August. Afterward, there were various rumors, including discussions about renewing contracts for BLACKPINK members excluding Rosé, claims that Jennie and Jisoo were establishing their own agencies, speculations about individual activities while maintaining group activities, and even rumors of disbandment.
However, both YG and the members have not provided clear statements. Regarding the rumor that YG Entertainment had completed a group contract with BLACKPINK on November 20, YG also responded to Newsen, “Nothing is confirmed, and discussions are ongoing.”
During this period full of suspicions, however, the close group photo of BLACKPINK has managed to warm the heart of fans.
