BLACKPINK Appear As Complete Group in State Banquet With Royalty

Girl group BLACKPINK recently appeared together at Buckingham Palace

On November 21 (local time), King Charles and Queen Camilla of the UK hosted a glittering dinner at Buckingham Palace in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee’s state visit to the country.

Here, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé were among the roughly 170 guests in attendance and even received a shoutout from the King during his speech.

In particular, King Charles said at the dinner, “It is especially inspiring to see Korea’s younger generation embrace the cause. I applaud Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rosé, better known collectively as BLACKPINK, for their role in bringing the message of environmental sustainability to a global audience as Ambassadors for the U.K.’s Presidency of COP 26, and later as advocates for the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.”

“I can only admire how they can prioritize these vital issues, as well as being global superstars”, he also added, at the same time comparing the strong influence of K-Pop with the reach of the UK.

On the other hand, Lisa donned a jade-color dress, while Jennie wore a white gown. Rosé and Jisoo both appeared in gorgeous black dresses, with the former wearing an elegant sleeveless design and the latter opting for princess-like lace details.
