BLACKPINK is once again breaking new ground—this time beyond the music stage. The global K-pop powerhouse will collaborate with the National Museum of Korea to celebrate the release of their third mini album, [DEADLINE], marking the first large-scale official partnership between the museum and a K-pop artist.
According to YG Entertainment on February 12, the project titled “National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK” will run from February 26 to March 8.

As part of the special collaboration, the exterior of the National Museum of Korea will be illuminated in symbolic pink lighting, representing both BLACKPINK and the exclusive project. The visual transformation is expected to create a striking fusion of modern pop culture and historic architecture.
In addition, the members of BLACKPINK will participate as audio docents, lending their voices to guide visitors through eight selected national treasures. Through this initiative, the group will serve as cultural ambassadors, introducing Korea’s heritage to both domestic and global audiences.
A highlight of the collaboration includes a full-track listening session for [DEADLINE] at the iconic Gwanggaeto the Great Stele located along the museum’s “Path of History” main lobby.
Some sessions will be exclusively available to Spotify Premium users. Pre-release listening begins one day before the official album launch and will be open to visitors who reserve through Naver starting February 19 at 8 PM (KST). After the album’s official release on February 27 at 2 PM (KST), the listening experience will be accessible to all museum visitors during operating hours.

This marks the first time a K-pop act has undertaken an official large-scale collaboration with the National Museum of Korea—further cementing BLACKPINK’s influence not only in music but also in cultural diplomacy.
BLACKPINK’s third mini album [DEADLINE] will be released on February 27 at 2 PM (KST). The five-track project includes the title song “GO,” alongside the pre-release track “JUMP,” as well as “Me and My,” “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy.”
YG Entertainment previously described the album as one filled with “irreversible, defining moments” and capturing “BLACKPINK at their brightest in the present.”
With this historic museum collaboration, BLACKPINK continues to redefine what it means to be a global K-pop icon—bridging contemporary pop stardom with Korea’s timeless cultural legacy.
