On February 9 (KST), YG Entertainment unveiled the first batch of concept visuals for DEADLINE. Without lengthy teasers or complicated rollouts, just a single drop of images was enough for the world’s top girl group to dominate online conversations. In the newly revealed posters, BLACKPINK radiates luxury, confidence, and power, blending an intense aura reminiscent of Kill This Love with the bold edge of Pink Venom. From their piercing gazes to their commanding poses, every detail prompted fans to marvel at how the members look “sculpted like living statues.”

In the main concept poster, each member maintains her own distinct color and character while blending seamlessly into a perfectly balanced group image. Jennie once again lives up to her title as a “global IT girl,” exuding cold, high-fashion charisma that feels straight off an international runway—effortlessly dominant without even moving. Jisoo delivers a striking mix of classical and modern beauty, with sharp features often compared to a Greek statue, the kind of visual that grows more captivating the longer you look. Lisa embodies a fierce, mentor-like presence, sharp and powerful, evoking the legendary aura of a The Face judge.
Rosé, however, delivered the biggest visual shock. Known as BLACKPINK’s strongest vocalist, she stunned fans by stepping away from her traditionally safe “muse” image and embracing a bolder, more mature high-fashion vibe. Wearing a daring outfit styled with visible lingerie elements, she confidently showcased her shoulders and slim waist. Many fans admitted they were left speechless, calling it one of Rosé’s most transformative visual moments to date.

The excitement didn’t stop there. The “red light” version of the visual posters pushed fan reactions to a new peak. Bathed in deep crimson tones with dramatic lighting, the images looked less like standard comeback teasers and more like luxury fashion magazine covers. Every angle and expression carried a cinematic feel, drawing comparisons to iconic editorials from Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. Some fans even joked that YG Entertainment could send the images directly to top fashion magazines without needing an additional photoshoot. Overwhelmed by both visuals and presence, others playfully suggested that the four members should immediately sign up as mentors for The Face.
Earlier, BLACKPINK had already revealed the tracklist for DEADLINE, which includes Jump, Go, Champion, Me And My, and a controversial B-side titled Fxxxboy. The announcement sparked mixed reactions, with some expressing disappointment over the relatively small number of tracks considering BLACKPINK’s global status and long preparation period. A portion of listeners even labeled it a “minimal” mini-album that fell short of expectations. However, the newly released high-quality visuals appear to have eased much of that skepticism, reigniting curiosity and anticipation ahead of the album’s official release on February 27.
