Clips of BLACKPINK Lisa and Jennie being playful onstage are gaining attention.
Following two nights of Coachella performances, BLACKPINK and the members secured the top 5 spots in the “Top 10 Artists Mentioned on Social Media During Coachella” during two weeks of the festival, according to Netbase Quid.
A moment during one of BLACKPINK’s performances went viral online. The clip showed Jennie asking Lisa out of the blue, “Where’s my mom?” Many speculated that Jennie actually could not see her mom while performing onstage, and wanted to find her in the crowd.
The intimate moments did not stop there. During “DDU-DU DDU-DU”, while Jisoo and Rosé were performing at the center of the stage, Jennie playfully hugged Lisa from behind. After a spontaneous, playful gesture, Lisa and Jennie turned on their professional mode and continued with the performance.
