BLACKPINK Jisoo, suddenly starring in ‘Sul Kang Hwa’ as the female lead role

Girl group BLACKPINK member Ji-Soo will star in the upcoming drama and begin acting in earnest.

According to a drama official on August 18, Jisoo will appear as the female lead role in the upcoming drama of JTBC ‘Sul Kang Hwa: Snowdrop’ (tentative title).

‘Sul Kang Hwa’ is a collaboration work between the scriptwriter Yoo Hyun Mi and PD Jo Hyun Tak, who both worked together on JTBC unprecedented hit drama ‘SKY Castle’ last year. ‘SKY Castle’ created a nationwide syndrome with the combination of solid scripts, powerful directing, and actors’ great acting.

This is the first time Jisoo stars in a drama. Before her acting debut, she once acted as a cameo for the KBS 2TV drama ‘Producer’ in 2015, and last year, she made a special appearance in the role of Saya (Song Joong-ki)’s first love, Sae Na-rae, on the cable channel TVN drama ‘Arthdal Chronicles’.
Along with the starring in ‘Sul Kang Hwa’ of Jisoo, Black Pink is also about to release their first full album on October 2, making fans even more excited.
