BLACKPINK Jisoo gets tested to see what her personal color is in a new vlog.
On April 19th, Jisoo posted a video titled “EP.2 PERSONAL COLOR + HAIR DYE VLOG” on her YouTube channel “Happiness Index 103%.”
In the video, BLACKPINK Jisoo shows herself getting a “personal color test”. When asked, “Was there anything you wanted to know?” Jisoo responded, “Isn’t it all the same if you get your makeup done?”
The color tester proceeded to show Jisoo a picture of herself and asked, “What categories do you like best?” In response, Jisoo looked at her pictures and said, “I like light and mute, such as wearing jeans and a white tee.”
Then, when the color expert explained the characteristics of spring, summer, autumn, and winter tones, Jisoo said she might not be an autumn type.
As different colors were applied, Jisoo was able to see her face brightened when placed next to a cool tone cloth. As the saturation increased, however, her skin seems to yellow, drawing attention. At the same time, Jisoo’s face seems to get warmer with a beige color.
However, the muted colors killed all the color in Jisoo’s face, causing the female idol to quickly refuse them. She also drew laughter by saying that the muted colors put her “in trouble”.
The teacher who saw this explained that there are people who are very sensitive to brightness and saturation, and Jisoo seems to be the person who is most concerned with brightness.
In addition, Jisoo checked her hairstyle. The singer looked better in black hair than in brown. When checking herself through the mirror, Jisoo smiled satisfactorily, saying, “I don’t think I suit horn glasses.”
After all the analyses were completed, Jisoo showed determination after she was deemed to have a cool-toned complexion. Jisoo pledged to do her best as a “winter cool dark tone”, saying, “So it was winter at the end of the day, I’ll try my best with these results.”
At the same time, the female idol revealed that she has white clothes the most, and unexpectedly has “absurd colors” too, adding, “I really don’t have many vivid colored clothes.”
After the personal color test, Jisoo went to a hair salon to dye her hair. “Why is it the case…that this black hair seems pretty,” she said while on the way, adding that she originally decided to go dark for her solo album, but suddenly changed her mind.
“I’ll go to the salon first and talk about my current condition and decide what to do”, Jisoo also said, making up her mind.
Finally, Jisoo boldly bleached her hair, including her eyebrows, and took a selfie in such a state. Looking at herself during the first round of bleaching, Jisoo commented, “I look like an alien”, before going on to describe herself as “Malfoy’s dad” as the 2nd bleach begins, reassuring herself that she has to “get through this ugly process”.
As time passed and two days later, Jisoo went back to dye her hair a dark brown tone that suited her, and smiled contentedly at the final hair color.
