BLACKPINK Jisoo became the first Asian to appear on the exclusive cover of Vogue France.
On February 22nd, Vogue France unveiled the cover of the March issue where Jisoo captured attention with a straight black hair and bangs in a strapless lace black dress, exuding an alluring atmosphere.
Welcoming Jisoo to the cover of the magazine, Vogue France said, “This is the first time that a K-pop megastar has starred on the cover of Vogue France,” adding, “More than a global music star, Jisoo is a new generation pop culture icon.”
In addition, Vogue France also recognized Jisoo and BLACKPINK’s global fame by stating, “Having shot to fame thanks to the brilliant BLACKPINK, one of the most listened-to groups in the world since 2016, she is the perfect cover star. She is daring, vibrant and delicate, yet never fragile.”
