BLACKPINK Jennie recently won first place in a voting for “Fashion Leader idol representing the MZ generation”

StarPlay, a global fandom application, recently held a vote to select “Fashion Leader Idol representing the MZ Generation”, for 2 weeks, from June 23rd to July 7th. The vote aimss to select the most prominent trend setter idols who are considered “Wannabe icons” for the MZ generation, who values individuality and are sensitive to the latest trends. 

Among various competitors, BLACKPINK Jennie and her “High Teen Style” came 1st place with 56.55% of total votes, winning by a landslide.

As such, the female idol is crowned as ““Fashion Leader Idol representing the MZ Generation”, who has captivated not only Korea but also the entire world. Since her debut, Jennie has emerged as the hottest trend setter in the entertainment industry, drawing attention for her lovely visuals, superior proportions on par with Barbie dolls, as well as her eye-catching aura and unrivaled fashion sense. 

As a representative icon of the MZ generation, Jennie often shows her sensual daily looks on SNS, drawing the attention of many people. Her outfits, which are the results of mixing and matching luxury brand items with more accessible casual brands, easily integrates trendy elements in the fashion world and is favored by the MZ generation who pursue a “natural hip”.

Following Jennie and coming in the 2nd position in StarPlay’s poll is idol-actor Park Ji Hoon (former WANNA ONE member) with his viral aegyo “Jeo Jang” (Capture in My Heart), which received 22.48% of total votes. The trademark gesture and catchphrase was popularized after Ji Hoon’s appearance on the popular survival show “Produce 101”, and has since been well-received by the MZ generation and became a legendary buzzword.

Meanwhile, EXO Sehun‘s “Bubble Tea” and IVE Rei’s “Gyaru Peace” ranked 3rd and 4th respectively. The full result of the vote can be viewed on StarPlay. 

On the other hand, StarPlay is conducting their new voting for “Female Kpop Idol Who Are The Queen Of Summer” until July 21st.
