BLACKPINK is reportedly preparing to return with their 2nd full album this August

According to Yonhap Morning News, BLACKPINK is gearing up for their long-awaited comeback with a full album.

On July 13th, Yonhap Morning News reported that BLACKPINK will release their 2nd full album this August, marking their first comeback as a complete group in almost two years. Following the comeback, BLACKPINK will also go on a world tour to meet fans around the globe. 

Previously, on July 6th, an official from YG Entertainment confirmed that BLACKPINK is in the last stages of recording their upcoming album. The filming for BLACKPINK’s next MV will begin in July and the comeback will officially take place in August. YG did not specify whether BLACKPINK will return with a mini or full album.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has gone on for about a year and 10 months without a comeback. They last returned to the K-pop scene with their first-ever full album “THE ALBUM” in October 2020. Expectations are now getting even higher with the news of BLACKPINK’s 2nd full album.
