BLACKPINK becomes highest-grossing Asian female act in US history with “BORN PINK”

The earnings from BLACKPINK’s North America leg of their world tour “BORN PINK” has set a new historic record. 

After returning to the music industry with “BORN PINK” after around 2 years of absence, BLACKPINK has been touring around the world and delivering outstanding performances. Whilst the girl group’s world tour is still on-going in Asia, they have already set various new records. In particular, BORN PINK’s North America leg is now the highest-grossing tour by an Asian female act in US history.

According to a report by Touring Data on January 27th, BLACKPINK earned 31,643,455 USD from the North American stops of their “BORN PINK” World Tour, with a total of 119,952 tickets sold in 10 out of 14 shows. Despite their 2 shows at Hamilton and 2 shows at Los Angeles not yet announcing data, the girl group already amassed impressive numbers that other girl groups will have a hard time surpassing.

  • American Airlines Center, Dallas: 23,528 tickets (100%) – $6,181,742 (2 shows)
  • Toyota Center, Houston: 23,480 tickets (100%) – $6,107,595 (2 shows)
  • State Farm Arena, Atlanta: 23,434 tickets (100%) – $6,012,820 (2 shows)
  • United Center, Chicago: 25,582 tickets (100%) – $6,745,781 (2 shows)
  • Prudential Center, Newark: 23,928 tickets (100%) – $6,595,517
  • FirstOntario Center, Hamilton (2 shows) and Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles (2 shows) – TBA

Alongside their huge topicality, BLACKPINK has established a stable position in the US and Canada with various sold-out concert nights. There, the girl group not only attracted numerous foreign fans, but also foreign celebrities known to be fans, such as Olivia Rodrigo and Conan Gray. In addition, Camila Cabello performed a duet with Jisoo at BLACKPINK’s Los Angeles stop, setting the crowd on fire. It is no exaggeration to say that BLACKPINK is among the top female acts in North America.
