On April 15, BLACKPINK made history as the first K-pop act to headline at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, 4 years after their first performance at the event in 2019. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, delivered an electrifying performance that left the audience in awe.
Backstage, the BLACKPINK members were seen mingling with industry heavyweights like Peter Utz, the Event Director of Celine, and Frederic Arnault, the CEO of TAG Heuer. Lisa and Jisoo took a photo with the two executives.
BLACKPINK’s Coachella performance also caught the attention of Jeremy Scott, a renowned fashion designer, who came to watch their performance and posed for photos with Rosé. Additionally, model Soojoo Park joined the group backstage.
The DJ duo Simi Haze also shared behind-the-scenes photos with Jennie and models Hyunji and Lee Ho Jung, giving fans a glimpse into the high-energy atmosphere that surrounded the group.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will once again headline at the Coachella stage on April 23. BLACKPINK is currently going on the largest world tour in K-pop girl group history, mobilizing over 15 million people. They will also write history as the first K-pop group to headline the British Summer Time Hyde Park festival in July.
