BLACKPINK has teased a limited edition collaboration with Takashi Murakami 

On November 18th, the retail media platform NTWRK announced the news of the collaboration between BLACKPINK and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami’s limited edition.

The limited edition collaboration between BLACKPINK and Takashi Murakami is scheduled to be unveiled on December 8.

On November 20th, an official from YG Plus said, “The collaboration between Takashi Murakami and BLACKPINK has been decided for a long time. It is something that everyone within the company was aware of.”

Takashi Murakami is a contemporary Japanese artist and pop artist known for collaborations with global luxury brand Louis Vuitton. He is active globally with his unique artistic world. Previously, Takashi Murakami has collaborated with stars such as Kanye West and Billie Eilish.

On another note, in their 7th year since debut, BLACKPINK is currently in discussions with YG Entertainment regarding contract renewal. No official announcement on the final results of BLACKPINK’s contract negotiations has been issued as of now.

Earlier today, at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards, BLACKPINK won Top K-pop Touring Artist with their world tour ‘BORN PINK,’ which attracted a total of 1.8 million attendees.
