Billie Eilish doubts Yoo Jae-suk’s claim of being close with Jennie “Does Jennie know that?”

On June 23rd, tvN’s “You Quiz on the Block” released a preview video featuring Billie Eilish.

In the video, Billie Eilish greets Yoo Jae-suk and Jo Se-ho with a warm hug. Jo Se-ho receives Billie’s autograph on his T-shirt, making Yoo Jae-suk, who is dressed in a suit, envious.

Billie Eilish says “I really wanted to be on this show. How could I come to Korea and not appear on ‘You Quiz’?“, making everyone happy with her thoughtful greeting.

Billie Eilish expresses her admiration for BLACKPINK’s Jennie, “I really like Jennie.” Jo Se-ho then humorously points to Yoo Jae-suk and says, “Jennie’s older brother is Yoo Jae-suk.” Yoo Jae-suk adds “I’m close with Jennie“, but Billie Eilish skeptically asks, “Does Jennie know that?” This makes everyone laugh. Yoo Jae-suk replies “She should know” and Jo Se-ho jokes, “I’ll confirm that.“

Billie Eilish then acknowledges Yoo Jae-suk’s fame, “I actually know him. He’s a big deal.” Yoo Jae-suk is surprised, exclaiming, “Billie Eilish says I’m a big deal!” Despite being called a “musical genius” with worldwide hits, Billie Eilish reveals she never formally learned music. She reveals, “I mostly learned through YouTube tutorials. My songs were made in my brother’s bedroom.“

Billie Eilish also shares that she did not want to win the Grammy for “Bad Guy”, explaining, “I was just a 17-year-old girl who made an album at home with my brother. Winning a Grammy felt overwhelming. Now, I’m finding my own joy.“
