T.O.P announced the postponement of the wine release to mourn the victims of the tragedy.
On the 31st, T.O.P posted an update that said in Korean and English to extend his condolences to families and friends of the affected, “With grief for those who lost their lives or were injured in Itaewon, I would like to send my deepest condolences and best wishes to the families and friends of all those who have been affected by this terrible tragedy”.
In addition, As a wine businessman, in light of this unfortunate event, T.O.P also announced the postponement of his wine release, “We will postpone the release of T’SPOT to December”.
T.O.P left the message in English and Korean to convey his wishes to domestic and overseas fans.
Recently, on the night of the 29th, a large crowd gathered ahead of Halloween in an alley near the Hamilton Hotel in Itaewon, Seoul which resulted in a large-scale crushing accident.
The Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters announced that as of 6 a.m. on the 31st, the Itaewon disaster has killed 154 people and injured 149, resulting in a total of 303 casualties. The government has designated the national mourning period from Sunday through to Saturday, November 5th.
