BIGBANG’s comeback news drew mixed reactions from Knets: Group’s future will be like SNSD after T.O.P’s departure?
BIGBANG is scheduled to come back after 4 years but it seems that K-netizens are not so excited.
Earlier today (February 7), BIGBANG fans were stirred up by new announcements about the group after a long hiatus. Specifically, YG revealed that T.O.P‘s contract with the company has expired and he would be walking down a separate path as an artist and businessman. However, T.O.P is still going to be present for future group activities of BIGBANG. YG has also confirmed that BIGBANG will be making a comeback this spring. Currently, the recording process for the new song has been completed and the group is preparing to shoot the MV.
In response to the surprising news of BIGBANG, Korean netizens have mixed reactions. Most do not show excitement despite the fact that BIGBANG has not made a comeback in 4 years:
