Bibi shows off her noir acting in R-rated MV for new single “Animal Farm”

Bibi has dropped a new MV with an unconventional concept and netizens’ reactions are mixed.

On September 27, Bibi released the MV for her new single “Animal Farm”, a trailer for her first full album “Lowlife Princess: Noir”.

The MV begins with Bibi surrounded by masked men. She is shown kneeling on her knees with an apple in her mouth and her arms tied. Bibi draws her sword from a huge table and wields it at the men.  Shortly thereafter, Bibi’s white dress is stained with her red blood.

Netizens’ reactions to the MV have been mixed. Here are some comments:

  • “Even her MV is art. It’s amazing that Bibi’s spectrum has reached this far”
  • “I feel like I was watching a movie”
  • “It reminds me of the movie ‘Kill Bill’
  • “I think some scenes are too violent”
  • “Isn’t it too manic?”

According to Bibi’s management company Feelgood Music, “Animal Farm” is a song produced under the theme of “false standards against the world and rebellion against the existing system”. Bibi produced and wrote the lyrics for the song herself, and the MV is not suitable for viewers under 18-year-old.

For this album, like her previous albums, Bibi was in charge of planning, directing the entire concept, music, and acting. In the future, the entire worldview designed by Bibi and the extended version of the project will be released sequentially to provide listeners with more understanding.

Bibi’s “Animal Farm” MV is available on the YouTube channel 1theK.
