“Believer 2” Drops Still Cuts Showing Han Hyo-joo’s Fierce Transformation With Tanned Skin

Netflix’s upcoming film “Believer 2” released still cuts for the main characters

Following the 2018 film “Believer”, “Believer 2” is the second film in the series. It depicts the battle between Detective Won-ho (Cho Jin-woong), who is still chasing after Mr. Lee, Rak (Oh Seung-hoon), Brian (Cha Seung-won), and the new character Big Knife (Han Hyo-joo), who returns to Korea from China to deal with the situation after the bloody fight at Yongsan Station.

The production team recently released stills cuts showing Won-ho in various situations, from standing alone in Norway again, holding a gun in the chase of the real Mr. Lee, and struggling with dangerous moments, heralding a dynamic story. Cha Seung-won was arrested after Wonho’s operation but succeeded in escaping from prison and returning to his position as Brian with new opportunities.

Han Hyo-joo will present a drastic acting transformation in her career as she becomes Big Knife, Mr. Lee’s closest aide who is in charge of cleaning up issues that arise after each operation for their organization. Showing her overwhelming presence with a cold look, Big Knife is a ruthless character who is loyal to Mr. Lee

In particular, director Baek Jong-yul actually proposed the idea of changing the gender of Big Knife, which was originally a male character, and cast Han Hyo-joo. It is known that Han Hyo-joo made great efforts to immerse herself in Big Knife, such as wearing dentures and glasses, creating rough tanned skin, and building a solid body through intensive exercise. As such, viewers are raising high expectations for Han Hyo-joo’s performance in this movie.

Oh Seung-hoon, who has been active in various fields, including dramas, movies, musicals and plays, will join the cast as Rak. The still cuts for Rak stimulate “Believer” fans’ curiosity about Oh Seung-hoon’s new portrayal of this character. In addition, Kim Dong-young and Lee Joo-young will work together again as farmers Manko and Rona. Their fearless appearance in the still pictures captivated viewers at once.

“Believer 2” will premiere on Netflix on November 17th.
