Park Bo Gum joined The Black Label as its second actor.
Everyone was surprised when actor Park Bo Gum decided to choose The Black Label as his new agency. The reason is that The Black Label was founded by Teddy, a producer and former 1TYM member. Teddy has produced numerous hit songs for YG Entertainment’s artists.
When the news of Park Bo Gum not renewing his exclusive contract with Blossom Entertainment after working together for a long time broke out, various speculations about Park Bo Gum’s new home poured out. HYBE, the management agency of the global group BTS, was called out but the information turned out to be groundless. Rumors of Park Bo Gum transferring to YG Entertainment were also raised, but in the end, his choice is The Black Label, which has a close relationship with YG.

Prior to Park Bo Gum, The Black Label made headlines after recruiting Taeyang, a member of YG’s representative group Big Bang. After moving to The Black Label, Taeyang immediately released the new song “VIBE” collaborating with BTS member Jimin and earned impressive achievements.
Particularly eye-catching is the point where The Black Label announced Park Bo Gum’s joining. They said, “With this, The Black Label is expected to start the actor management business in earnest.”
The Black Label has been dominated by singers and music producers such as Zion.T (real name Kim Hae Sol, 33), Jeon Somi (21) and Taeyang.
