Beating out both Seventeen and The Boyz, BTS once again win 1st place on the brand reputation chart for boy groups this month!

BTS took the top spot in the big data analysis of boy group brand reputation in September, beating out Seventeen and The Boyz.

The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute measured the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for boy group brands through consumer behavior analysis of 64,687,855 boy group brand big data measured from August 10 to September 10. Compared with 59,275,122 brand big data in August, it increased by 9.13%.

Accordingly, the BTS brand, which ranked first in the boy group brand reputation, was analyzed with a brand reputation index of 9,734,185 as the participation index of 853,099, media index of 2,968,233, communication index of 2,873,496, community index of 3,039,358. Compared with the brand reputation index of 7,989,686 in August, it increased by 21.83%.

In second place, Seventeen was surveyed with a brand reputation index of 4,745,420 as the participation index of 531,423, media index of 1,968,448, communication index of 945,601, community index of 1,299,948. Compared with the brand reputation index of 4,611,799 in August, it increased by 2.90%.

Taking the 3rd place, The Boyz brand showed a brand reputation index of 4,297,527 with a participation index of 252,423, a media index of 1,336,504, a communication index of 1,408,910, a community index of 1,299,690. Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,163,543 in August, it increased by 98.63%.

Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, said, “As a result of big data analysis of boy group brand reputation in September 2022, the BTS brand ranked first. The boy group brand category increased by 9.13% compared to 59,275,122 brand big data in August. According to the detailed analysis, brand consumption decreased by 10.84%, brand issue increased by 3.69%, brand communication rose by 17.02%, and brand spread rose by 16.61%.”

“The BTS brand was highly analyzed for “Perform, Suspicious, Host” in the link analysis. In the keyword analysis, ‘expo, Busan concert, special military service’ were analyzed highly. In the positive-negative ratio analysis, the positive ratio was analyzed to be 67.09%. If you look at the detailed analysis of the brand reputation of BTS, brand consumption decreased by 1.86%, brand issue rose by 17.85%, brand communication rose by 49.20%, and brand expansion rose by 13.59%.”
