Barbie Hsu and businessman Wang Xiaofei share two children: Wang Xiyue, 12, and Wang Xilin, 10. Following the Meteor Garden star’s passing, the two children were placed under Wang Xiaofei’s care. Since moving in with their father and his wife Mandy, the children have been seen in public more frequently. During Barbie Hsu’s lifetime, they rarely appeared in public, as she carefully protected their privacy. Even recently, whenever paparazzi photographed the children, media outlets typically covered their faces with emojis or captured them only from a distance to respect their privacy.

On July 25, QQ reported that Wang Xiaofei and Mandy were spotted taking Wang Xiyue, Wang Xilin, and their newborn son to dine at a Michelin-starred French restaurant in Hong Kong. According to eyewitnesses, Barbie Hsu’s daughter stood out for her remarkable appearance, attracting attention from nearly everyone around her. “Xiyue is incredibly beautiful. She looks like a real-life doll. Anyone who sees her would be shocked by how striking she is,” one source claimed. The report described the 12-year-old as having fair skin, large expressive eyes, a high nose bridge, and delicate facial features. She is also said to possess the same gentle, graceful aura that Barbie Hsu had in her youth.

The same source noted that Xiyue appeared far more confident than she did a year ago. Previously, she was often described as shy, quiet, and reluctant to appear in public without wearing a face mask. During this Hong Kong trip with her father and stepmother, however, she did not wear a mask, maintained confident posture throughout the meal, dressed stylishly with a layered haircut, and openly chatted with Wang Xiaofei about school during their two-hour dinner.
Earlier, on July 10, Barbie Hsu’s 12-year-old daughter unexpectedly deleted the Instagram account she had created just two months earlier. Reports claimed she struggled with the intense public attention surrounding her mother’s death, her new life with her stepmother Mandy, and the ongoing inheritance and financial disputes involving her family.

According to Taiwanese media, Barbie Hsu’s real estate assets were officially transferred on July 22 to Koo Jun Yup and her two children, with each receiving one-third ownership. Because Wang Xiyue and Wang Xilin are still minors, all inheritance registration procedures and property management will be handled by their legal guardian, Wang Xiaofei.
Barbie Hsu passed away in Japan on February 2, 2025, and was cremated before her ashes were returned to Taiwan. On March 15, 2025, her ashes were laid to rest at the Rose Garden of Chin Pao San Cemetery under heavy rain. Reports stated that neither of her children attended the burial ceremony. However, ETtoday reported that Xiyue has struggled emotionally since losing her mother, becoming more sensitive and crying so frequently that her eyes were often swollen.
