Bang Si-hyuk Sent Coffee Truck To Uhm Jung-hwa’s Concert, Showing Off Their Special Friendship

HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si-hyuk presented a coffee truck to show support for Uhm Jung-hwa on her solo concert

On December 9th, Bang Si-hyuk posted two photos on his SNS account with the caption, “Admire you! Congrats!”.

The released pictures show Bang Si-hyuk visiting Uhm Jung-hwa’s concert venue. Standing next to each other, Uhm Jung-hwa did a V pose with a happy expression while Bang Si-hyuk smiled brightly.

Appearing on an episode of “Suchwita”, a content released on BTS’s YouTube channel “BANGTAN TV”, in November, Uhm Jung-hwa talked about her long-time friendship with Bang Si-hyuk, who worked on music with her. 

Suga said, “I heard some interesting news. Someone said you two almost got married. You almost appeared on ‘We Got Married’ with him?”. Uhm Jung-hwa replied, “I regret it so much. I should have done it. I was a little busy back then and didn’t have time so I only saw it in articles. Bang Si-hyuk said he wanted to film the program. I was filming dramas and movies back then, so I didn’t want to do entertainment shows”.

She smiled pleasantly and continued, “Later I thought about that again. I should have agreed to join the program. If so, I could be here (HYBE) now”.

According to Billboard’s reports, Bang Si-hyuk holds 31.8% of HYBE stocks, which are estimated to be worth $2.54 billion.
