According to a report by China Times on August 4, Bai Lu’s management revealed that she has been the target of prolonged and invasive behavior from unidentified individuals. These include being followed, filmed without consent, and even harassed via phone, severely disrupting her personal life and professional activities.

In a strongly worded statement, her agency announced that they have already gathered evidence and filed a report with the police in accordance with legal protocols.
“We strongly oppose all forms of stalking, surveillance, tailing, covert filming, or any other illegal activity,” the agency stated.
“Absolutely do not engage in phone harassment, leak, or attempt to obtain the artist’s contact information.”

The company stressed that following or tailing celebrities in private settings — such as hotels or during personal travel — not only threatens individual safety but also violates the law and disrupts public order.
“We urgently demand and warn that all such behavior must cease immediately,” the statement continued, citing concerns over following cars or planes, secret filming, phone harassment, and similar intrusions.
The agency also appealed to individuals and organizations to immediately stop any illegal attempts to collect, leak, or circulate Bai Lu’s personal data, reinforcing their intent to protect her privacy by all legal means.

Bai Lu, born in 1994 in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, is best known for her roles in hit dramas like Love is Sweet, One and Only, and the fantasy series Till the End of the Moon. Her rising popularity has unfortunately come with growing invasions of privacy — a trend increasingly common among high-profile Chinese celebrities.
