The rumored relationship between Bai Jingting and Song Yi has reportedly reached its conclusion, as multiple warning signs surfaced one after another—prompting paparazzi to officially confirm the breakup.
According to Taiwanese media, this is no longer a case of isolated speculation. Instead, every clue now points to the same outcome. After months of noticeably cooling interactions, the romance between the two Chinese stars has been described by paparazzi as effectively over.
Bai Jingting and Song Yi first sparked dating rumors in 2022 after co-starring in the hit drama Destined (Chang Feng Du). Despite a four-year age gap that led many to label them a low-key “noona–dongsaeng” couple, the pair never publicly acknowledged their relationship. However, they were repeatedly photographed together off set, traveling and spending time privately, and were often seen interacting warmly at public events—behavior widely interpreted as tacit confirmation.

Over the past year, signs of trouble began to surface. Public interactions between the two sharply declined, and fans noticed that Song Yi had unfollowed Bai Jingting on social media. She also deleted comments related to him, further fueling breakup rumors. Around the same time, she was spotted interacting closely with other male actors, intensifying speculation that the relationship had ended.
The rumors reached a turning point when well-known Chinese paparazzo Liu Da Chui addressed the issue directly during a livestream. When asked about Bai Jingting and Song Yi’s relationship status, he stated bluntly: “Bai and Song have basically broken up.” His remark was widely viewed as “paparazzi confirmation,” effectively placing a full stop on the years-long dating speculation.
Some netizens questioned whether Liu Da Chui’s conclusion was based merely on a lack of recent photos. In response, the paparazzo clarified that the two stars no longer initiate contact in private and “won’t meet unless it’s for work.” Based on this pattern, he concluded that their relationship had already come to an end.

Meanwhile, both actors appear to be focusing on their careers. Bai Jingting has seen his popularity surge again thanks to his new drama The Hard to Comfort, with his professional trajectory continuing upward. Song Yi, on the other hand, was rumored last year to be romantically linked with actor Cheng Lei during the filming of With Jin Chang’an, adding further uncertainty around her personal life.
Unverified industry gossip has also circulated about Song Yi’s allegedly strong personality and difficulties in private relationships—claims that remain unconfirmed but have nonetheless become part of online discussions.
While neither Bai Jingting nor Song Yi has issued an official statement, the accumulation of evidence—and the paparazzi’s rare, definitive wording—has led many to believe that this once widely followed romance has quietly come to an end.
