On February 10, Baek Ji-young posted two photos on Instagram, captioning them, “Me six years ago vs. me now.”
In the first photo, taken six years ago, Baek Ji-young is seen in a casual outfit with a bare face, exuding a natural and fresh charm. In contrast, the second image showcases her in full stage makeup and a glamorous performance outfit, radiating elegance.
Acknowledging the difference, she wrote, “The first photo is me with no makeup in everyday clothes, while the second is me in full glam and a stage outfit! It’s okay, I’m aging well. Let’s take comfort in that.”

Baek Ji-young has always been open and humorous about her changing appearance.
Earlier, on January 2, Baek Ji-young uploaded a new video on her YouTube channel. When asked to choose between “living with your own face” and “receiving 1 billion won and changing your face randomly”, Baek Ji-young responded, “What are you talking about? I spent that much money on my face. I’ll just live with my own face”, drawing laughter.

On a broadcast of SBS’s radio “Cultwo Show” in 2022, Baek Ji-young replied to fans complimenting her youthful appearance, saying, “They said I didn’t change so I searched my past photos. That person and I am right now are very different,” adding “I’m happy with my appearance right now. I think I’ve spent a lot of money on it,” hinting at her plastic surgery experience.

On the same day, rapper Trudy also confessed to undergoing plastic surgery on another broadcast. When Lee Ji-hye asked if Trudy did something to her face, the female rapper said, “I changed everything, the surgeon is like my dad. I was reborn.” Trudy then performed a rap and the lyrics said, “My graduation photo, no pretty. Even after changing our faces, we’re still pretty and kind, right?” Chae Rina replied, “We never change.”

Han Ye-seul honestly talked about having double eyelid surgery in her 40s. In her YouTube video uploaded in December last year, the actress shared her skincare tips and exercise routine for self-management. She then pointed to her eyes and asked, “What do you think about them?”. Han Ye-seul explained, “I touched my eyes a little bit and it left no scar. I went to the clinic for counseling and they said they would complete it within 14 minutes. It was a little swollen at first but now, after 3 weeks, they’ve become normal and I’m living comfortably.”
