BABYMONSTER Reveals Top 3 Mid-Evaluation Results: Yang Hyun Suk Hints at Upcoming Elimination
The mid-evaluation results for YG’s new girl group, BABYMONSTER, have been released and the competition is getting intense.
On March 31st, YG Entertainment posted a video on their official channel, showcasing BABYMONSTER’s dance and vocal performances from their latest mission. The group’s rendition of BLACKPINK’s “Don’t Know What To Do” received high praise for its unique charm and perfect harmony.
Senior YG artists were impressed by BABYMONSTER’s high level of professionalism and individuality, with Lee Su Hyun praising the “charm points” of Chiquita, Rora, and Ahyeon. WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon complimented BABYMONSTER’s facial expressions. He said, “It really seems like a professional group that already debuted.”
After careful evaluation by YG seniors, the mid-evaluation results were announced, with Ahyeon taking the top spot, followed by Chiquita and Pharita in second and third place, respectively.
However, producer Yang Hyun Suk hinted at the upcoming elimination, stating that “The final number of members of the debut lineup is definitely not seven.”
BABYMONSTER’s third mission will be a solo vocal evaluation, which will determine each member’s individual capabilities.
YG’s new girl group, which consists of three Korean members (Ahyeon, Haram, and Rora), two Thai members (Pharita and Chiquita), and two Japanese members (Ruka and Asa), is set to debut after the final member selection process is completed in their debut reality content “Last Evaluation,” which airs every Friday at midnight KST.
