BABYMONSTER Reveals Behind-the-Scenes of “Stuck In The Middle” MV Shoot

On February 6, YG Entertainment published a new video titled “BABYMONSTER – ‘Stuck In The Middle’ M/V MAKING FILM EP.1” on the agency’s official YouTube channel. The video unveils the behind-the-scenes of BABYMONSTER’s MV for “Stuck in the Middle”, which is praised for its beautiful cinematography.

The video started with individual cuts of the members for the music video. Chiquita, who filmed first, momentarily showed a nervous look, but quickly immersed herself in the song, delivering captivating expressions full of allure. Rora and Pharita then unfolded perfect emotional acting with detailed gestures and delicate expressions, enhancing the song’s sentimental vibe.

In the subsequent unit scenes, beautifully decorated sets with props like flowers and pianos and glamorous styling captured the attention. With members wearing dresses and accessories in various colors, they exuded a mysterious aura like protagonists from a fantasy fairy tale, instantly captivating viewers.

During break time, BABYMONSTER’s unique cheerful energy shone through. Despite the long hours of shooting, the girl group led the atmosphere with positive energy, expressing their special affection for each other by saying that despite it being embarrassing and awkward to act emotionally for the first time, they feel energized with the members.”

Meanwhile, the “Stuck In The Middle” MV topped YouTube’s “Most Viewed Video Within 24 Hours” chart immediately after its release and also climbed to the top of the global YouTube Daily Popular Music Video Chart. Surpassing 30 million views in just six days, they demonstrated their unique influence as the next-generation “YouTube Queens”.

Following this pre-release track, BABYMONSTER will release their first mini-album on April 1st. With this album, member Ahyeon will return, and the girl group plan to actively promote with a 7-member lineup.

Not only recognized by Billboard in the U.S., BABYMONSTER were also recently selected by the Grammy Awards as a K-pop rookie to watch, raising expectations for their future activities.
