FIFTY FIFTY Eventually Disbands: Keena Returns To Attrakt & Saena, Sio, Aran’s Contracts Terminated

FIFTY FIFTY’s agency announced the termination of exclusive contracts with members Saena, Sio and Aran

On October 23rd, Attrakt (CEO Jeon Hong-joon) announced, “Except for Keena (Song Ja-kyung), we have notified the other three members of our company’s girl group FIFTY FIFTY, including Saena (Jung Se-hyun), Sio (Jung Ji-ho) and Aran (Jung Eun-ah), the termination of their exclusive contracts as of October 19th”.

An Attrakt official said, “We decided to take action as the three FIFTY FIFTY members showed no sign of reflecting on their breach of contract and correcting their wrongdoings”, adding “We will discuss follow-up responses regarding the future of the members”.

FIFTY FIFTY is the female idol group introduced by Attrakt’s CEO Jeon Hong-joon in November last year.

The group entered the US Billboard Main Single Chart ‘Hot 100’ in February with the song “Cupid” 4 months after their debut and received the title “miracle of small and medium-sized idol companies”.

However, FIFTY FIFTY applied for an injunction to suspend their contract with Attrakt on June 19, only seven months after their debut. The members claimed that Attrakt did not fulfill their obligations as a management company, such as providing profit settlement data and taking care of the members’ physical and mental health. However, the court rejected FIFTY FIFTY’s injunction in August.

Among the four members, Keena later decided to drop the lawsuit against Attrakt and return to the company on October 16th.
