On August 13, AtHeart officially debuted with their first mini album Plot Twist. The group’s name combines “Heart” and “At/@,” symbolizing a connection with fans around the world through shared emotions. With members Michi, Arin, Kaitlin, Bom, Seohyun, Aurora, and Nahyun — all versatile all-rounders — AtHeart aims to break position boundaries and set a new paradigm in global K-Pop.

The excitement stems not only from the members’ talent but also from the powerhouse behind them. Their agency, Titan Contents, was co-founded by industry veterans: Han Se-min (former SM Entertainment CEO who led BoA’s U.S. debut), Kang Jung-ah (casting director behind EXO and The Boyz), famed choreographer Lia Kim, and Dazed Korea founder Lee Gyum. AtHeart’s debut is the culmination of their combined music, performance, and creative expertise.

Han Se-min expressed confidence at a recent fan meetup: “We created AtHeart with big goals and vision from the start. I’m proud to say we’ve made content that will lead the next generation,” adding that he hopes to elevate the group to the level of BLACKPINK or BTS.

Plot Twist delivers AtHeart’s first artistic statement — five tracks capturing the unpredictable emotions of youth: moments of confusion, excitement, and self-discovery. Global top-tier producers contributed to the album, underscoring the group’s high-profile launch.

Even before debut, AtHeart amassed 660,000 YouTube subscribers and over 33 million cumulative views, earning them spots on “Most Anticipated K-Pop Groups of 2025” lists from Billboard, Variety, TeenVogue, Sohu, and Yahoo Japan. With standout visuals and skill, they are expected to heat up the K-Pop scene in late 2025.

AtHeart released Plot Twist and began promotions for its title track on August 13 at 6 p.m. KST.
