An Yu-jin is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actress. She is a member of the South Korean girl group IVE, managed by Starship Entertainment, and is known for her role as leader and vocalist. Before her debut with IVE, Ahn Yu-jin first gained public attention as a contestant on the reality survival series Produce 48 and as a member of the project group IZ*ONE.

Early Life and Education

An Yu-jin was born on September 1, 2003, in Jeju City, Jeju Province, South Korea. The group debuted on October 29, 2018, with the extended play COLORIZ* and went on to release multiple successful albums while actively promoting in both Korea and Japan. IZ*ONE officially disbanded on April 29, 2021 at the conclusion of their contract.

During her promotions with IZ*ONE, Ahn was known for her lead vocalist and performer roles, contributing to hit songs such as La Vie en Rose, Violeta, and Panorama.

Debut and Success with IVE (2021–present)

Following IZ*ONE’s disbandment, An Yu-jin returned to Starship Entertainment and was announced as a member of a new girl group, IVE. The group debuted on December 1, 2021, with the single album Eleven. Ahn serves as leader, lead vocalist, and visual of IVE, contributing to the group’s signature sound and performance style.
