Im Do Hwa (formerly known as Chanmi) was active as a member of AOA, but the girl group has long been inactive. Other members remaining in AOA, such as Seolhyun and Hyejeong, also departed from AOA’s agency, FNC.

In January, Im Do Hwa participated in Kakao Entertainment’s virtual girl group debut survival program “Girls Reverse”. Here, the female idol transformed into a virtual character, Dohwa. In a video released after her elimination, she explained the reason for her name change, saying, “I actually changed my name to Do Hwa. I am currently Im Do Hwa. I wanted to start standing on my own with the name that suits me best after working as AOA.”
