Annie (Moon Seo Yoon), member of the co-ed K-pop group ALLDAY PROJECT, is officially returning to her studies at Columbia University for the Spring 2026 semester. According to sources on January 14, Annie will resume classes around January 20 and remain in the U.S. until May, fully dedicating herself to her academic pursuits.
Majoring in Art History and Visual Arts, Annie plans to stay in the U.S. throughout the semester to focus solely on school. Despite the looming start of the semester, she is currently wrapping up various commercial and photo shoot commitments before heading abroad.
Annie’s academic journey has long attracted public interest, especially due to her background. As the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Group President Chung Yoo Kyung, Annie had to gain her mother’s approval to pursue an idol career. Determined, she poured herself into her studies and was ultimately accepted to the prestigious Ivy League institution Columbia University paving the way for her K-pop debut.
With Annie temporarily stepping back for school, fellow members Tarzzan, Bailey, Woochan, and Youngseo will focus on music production and individual activities during the first half of the year. Tarzzan has already kicked off individual promotions by releasing the music video for his solo track “MEDUSA” on January 12.
ALLDAY PROJECT, produced by hitmaker Teddy, made a powerful debut in 2025 with their track “FAMOUS,” quickly gaining traction in the K-pop scene. Known for their genre-defying style and bold concepts, the group continues to build a strong international fanbase from the start.
