“Amazing Saturday” Taeyeon shocked at the age of Jang Won Young, “Born in 2004? I joined SM that year”

Taeyeon was surprised when knowing Jang Won Young’s age.

The new broadcast of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday” on April 8th showed the girl group IVE appearing as a whole team to mark the show’s 5th anniversary.

That day, two IVE members of similar ages teamed up to become leaders of the dictation game teams. Yujin and Gaeul formed “unnie team”, Won Young and Liz were “same-age team”, while Rei and Leeseo became “maknae team”.

Taeyeon and Key, who found out that Jang Won Young and Liz were born in 2004 in the teaming process, looked at each other with expressions of surprise. Shocked by their age difference, Taeyeon reacted, “They were born in 2004? I joined SM Entertainment in 2004”.

Later, when it came to the time to select team members, Jang Won Young and Liz immediately picked Taeyeon without hesitation. However, Shin Dong Yeop said, “I heard the rumor”, and teased Taeyeon as if she asked her girl group juniors to choose her. 

Key commented, “Who knows what’s inside Liz’s socks”, jokingly saying that Taeyeon might have pressured Liz to choose her.
