Actor Ma Dong-seok announced a surprise news related to marriage registration.
Ma Dong-seok attended the 12th “SACF Artists of the Year Award” award ceremony held at Stage 28 in Godeok-dong, Seoul on Oct 20th. He won the Film Artist Award for his film “The Roundup.”
Ma Dong-seok said in his acceptance speech, “I sincerely thank you for inviting me to such a good event. I’m a person who stll lacks a lot as an actor and producer, and I’m grateful for such a meaningful and valuable award, and I’ll think of it as a warm encouragement,” he said.
He added, “I would like to say that I love and appreciate you to my beloved ‘wife’ Jeong Hae-hwa and her family who supported me the most, as well as my colleagues in ‘The Roundup’,” attracting everyone’s attention. This is because there was nothing previously reported about Ma Dong-seok’s marriage.
According to Maeil Economic Star Today and Osen reports, Ma Dong-seok’s agency said, “They registered their marriage last year,” adding, “They couldn’t hold a wedding ceremony due to the pandemic and our busy schedules. We will upload about it later.”
Earlier, Ma Dong-seok and Jeong Hae-hwa attended actor Yoon Gye-sang’s wedding in June and showed their unwavering love. The two have been in a public relationship for about six years since 2016, and finally became a legal couple through marriage registration last year.
