According to a report from Deadline on November 24 (local time), the show’s unexpected streaming success has prompted Hulu to greenlight a second season. Despite being labeled by critics as “the worst TV show in history,” All’s Fair managed to captivate global audiences, racking up over 3.2 million viewing hours within just three days of its premiere.

Set in a Los Angeles-based all-female law firm, the drama focuses on high-stakes divorce settlements for female clients. Kim Kardashian plays Allura Grant, a high-powered divorce attorney. The show boasts an A-list ensemble, including Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, Naomi Watts, and Niecy Nash, all of whom bring Emmy and Academy Award-winning credentials to the table.

The buzz was further fueled by high-profile guest appearances from celebrities like Jessica Simpson, Elizabeth Berkley, Brooke Shields, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Judith Light, who added star power to each episode.

Despite its celebrity-heavy cast and aggressive marketing, All’s Fair was ripped apart by critics. Multiple outlets listed it among the worst TV shows of the year, and some even claimed it could be “the worst drama in the history of television.” On Rotten Tomatoes, the show hit an infamous 0% rating, a rare and humiliating feat.

Viewers echoed the critics’ disdain, slamming the script as outdated and poorly written. Online comments included jabs like “a tsunami of awkward clichés” and “worse than what ChatGPT might’ve written two years ago.”

Still, controversy proved to be a magnet. The show’s explosive buzz and high viewership ultimately led to its renewal. Both Kim Kardashian and Glenn Close addressed the backlash, with Kardashian saying, “The first three episodes were the weakest,” and Close quipping, “Come watch the most criticized drama of the year.”
