Rookie group ALLDAY PROJECT is once again facing fierce criticism, this time for their behavior at the 2025 Asia Artist Awards (AAAs). Since debuting in June 2025, the group has frequently been at the center of controversy regarding their image, skills, and attitude and their latest public appearance has only fueled more negative buzz.
On December 8, multiple posts circulated on social media accusing members of disrespectful conduct. In one video, members Woochan and Tarzan were seen casually sitting with their shoes on the chair seats, which were shared by other artists. Fans expressed frustration, saying their favorite artists might have to sit on the soiled chairs.
In the same clip, Tarzzan appeared visibly uncomfortable while attempting TWS’s “Overdrive” challenge, while Woochan remained disengaged and unenthusiastic. Netizens were quick to draw comparisons between the rookie group and senior artist Hyeri, who enthusiastically participated in the challenge despite being far more experienced.
Another post showed Woochan smiling on stage with his legs resting on a chair, prompting comments like, “Is this appropriate behavior for high-ranking seniors?” and “Such lack of etiquette.”
A third video captured the group leaving the stage. While members Youngseo, Annie, and Bailey warmly responded to fans’ hand hearts, Tarzan and Woochan seemingly ignored them, only nodding slightly. Netizens criticized the male members’ behavior, calling it “disrespectful” and speculating they might have “developed an artist complex.”
Reactions from both Korean and international fans have been overwhelmingly negative:
- Aren’t they supposed to be rookies? This is just rude.
- You keep hearing bad things about them. What’s their concept?
- They had potential with their debut, but this arrogance won’t get them far.
- Do they think this rebellious image will work? It’s just piling negativity.
- They should be showing respect and humility. This behavior is disappointing.
Although ALLDAY PROJECT gained some attention for their debut song, many are now questioning their long-term prospects. Fans expected rookie enthusiasm and respectful engagement at major events, but instead, the group’s apparent disregard for basic decorum has only deepened public skepticism about their future.
ALLDAY PROJECT debuted in June 2025 as a five-member mixed-gender group with two male and three female members. Their debut track “FAMOUS” reached the Melon Top 100 within four days, gaining widespread attention. On December 6, the group officially released their first EP, ALLDAY PROJECT, continuing their growing global popularity.
