Hyomin admitted her dating rumors by announcing her breakup.
T-ARA’s Hyomin, who was the main character of K-showbiz’s first dating rumor in 2022, recently announced her breakup with soccer player Hwang Ui-jo. The two kept silent on their dating rumors but eventually admitted that the rumors at the time were true by announcing their breakup.
Hyomin belatedly spoke through an official on March 8th, revealing that she could not respond to the dating rumors raised in January because she doesn’t have a management agency. Hyomin said, “We met each other with good feelings at the time, but we naturally separated due to much burden and now we have decided to become friends who support each other.”
On January 3, Hyomin and Hwang Ui-jo were embroiled in rumors of a romantic relationship. At that time, Hyomin and Hwang Ui-jo were seen enjoying their date in Switzerland, but the two did not make any official statements.
Two months later, Hyomin announced her breakup. After rumors of Hyomin’s romantic relationship, the news of T-ARA Soyeon’s marriage to soccer player Cho Yoo-min and T-ARA Jiyeon to baseball player Hwang Jae-kyun seems to have become a burden on Hyomin as well. As a result, she eventually admitted her past romantic relationship with Hwang Ui-jo by announcing their breakup.
Meanwhile, since her debut as a member of T-ARA in 2009, Hyomin has been loved for songs such as “I Go Crazy Because of You,” “Bo Peep Bo Peep,” “Lovely Dovey,” “Roly Poly” and “Sexy Love.” T-ARA, to which Hyomin belongs, released a new album “Re:T-ARA” in November last year and continued their activities as a group.
Hwang Ui-jo made his professional soccer debut in 2013 when he joined Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma (currently Seongnam FC). Since then, he has played for Gamba Osaka and is currently playing for FC Girondins de Bordeaux in France.
