“Alchemy of Souls pt.2” will not have Jung So-min.
tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Alchemy of Souls,” starring Jung So-min, Lee Jae-wook, Shin Seung-ho and Hwang Min-hyun, is reportedly in the middle of filming for part 2, and attention is being paid to whether Jung So-min will appear in the sequel.
According to Star News’ coverage on August 26th, the filming of “Alchemy of Souls pt.2” is underway. The filming process is scheduled to end sometime this fall and to air in December.
“Alchemy of Souls” is a fantasy romance drama in which the protagonists, whose fate has been twisted due to the soul alchemy that changes their souls, overcome the hardships and grow.
“Alchemy of Souls” will be broadcast in 2 parts. Part 1 was first broadcast on June 18th and will end with the 20th episode on August 28th. Part 2 will then be broadcast in December and is planned to have a total of 10 episodes.
In the midst of this, Jung So-min (playing Mu-deok) will be replaced by Ko Yun-jeong (playing Nak-soo) in part 2 as Jung So-min only appears until part 1 and does not appear in part 2. Ko Yun-jeong will continue the story as the main character. According to an insider, Jung So-min did not appear at the filming for part 2. In this regard, agencies, production companies, and broadcasting companies are focusing their efforts on maintaining security due to this spoiler, but the situation is already widely known.
At the same time, it has been confirmed that there will virtually be no appearance of Jung So-min in part 2. The reason for this will be unfolded in episode 20 of part 1.
