Go Yoon Jung, who gained great attention with “Alchemy of Souls”, has reportedly been casted in a new JTBC drama.
On January 31st, Spotify News reported that Go Yoon Jung received an offer for the JTBC drama “Death’s Game” (working title), and was reviewing it positively.
“Death’s Game” is adapted from a webtoon of the same name, which was published on Naver from 2019 to 2020. The series follows Choi Yi Jae, a 31-year-old who has been unemployed for 5 years after graduating from college. When Yi Jae tries to take his own life, a woman called “Death” comes to punish him with her game, where he has to experience death over and over again through 13 reincarnations.
Previously, Park So Dam and Seo In Guk reportedly confirmed their appearances in the K-drama.
Meanwhile, Go Yoon Jung made her official debut as an actress in the tvN drama “He Is Psychometric”, which aired in 2019. She has since appeared in Netflix’s “The School Nurse Files” and “Sweet Home”, as well as JTBC’s “Law School” and the movie “Hunt”.
Recently, the actress solidified her position by starring as the female lead in “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow”, which is the 2nd season for “Alchemy of Souls”.
In 2023, Go Yoon Jung will transform into Jang Hee Soo in the Disney+ series “Moving”, which revolves around 3 high school students and their parents who suddenly discover their super powers.
In “Moving”, Go Yoon Jung will act as Jang Hee Soo, the daughter of male lead Jang Joo Won (Ryu Seung Ryong). Both of them have the ability to regenerate without feeling pain.
