Actors Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung heralded an affectionate romance.
tvN’s “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow” (written by Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, directed by Park Joon Hwa, hereinafter referred to as “Alchemy of Souls 2”) released the second teaser on Nov 19th. It unfolded the story of the mages 3 years later.
“Alchemy of Souls 2” is a fantasy romance work. Set in a fictional country called Daeho that does not exist in history or on maps, the series is about the love and growth of young mages as they overcome their twisted fates due to a forbidden magic spell known as the “alchemy of souls”, which allows souls to switch bodies.
Jang Uk (played by Lee Jae Wook) returns from the end of death and begins a new story. The teaser depicted the first meeting between Jang Uk and a mysterious woman (played by Go Yoon Jung).
Jang Uk was living in sorrow. He said in desperation, “I couldn’t keep a single person I promised, so what am I going to keep?” A mysterious woman then came to him. Everything changed for Jang Uk after he met that woman.
The relationship between Jang Uk and people surrounding him, such as Seo Yul (played by Hwang Min Hyun) and Crown Prince Go Won (played by Shin Seung Ho), also changed.
“Alchemy of Souls 2” is a sequel to “Alchemy of Souls”, which ended in August. Go Yoon Jung appears as a new female lead. She plays the role of “a mysterious woman with the face of Nak Su”. “Alchemy of Souls 2” will premiere at 9:10 PM on Dec 10th.
