On the April 9 broadcast of Problem Child in House on KBS, singer K.Will and Ahn Jae-hyun appeared as guests.

Speaking about how he became close with Ahn Jae-hyun, K.Will shared, “I have a song called Please Don’t…, and both Jae-hyun and Seo In-guk appeared in the music video. At the time, Jae-hyun was just starting to act and beginning to appear on variety shows. The music video gained a lot of attention.”

Joo Woo-jae added, “That music video has 85 million views. It was also widely watched overseas.” When Kim Sook and Hong Jin-kyung said they hadn’t seen it, K.Will joked, “Whenever someone says they haven’t watched it, I congratulate them they still have a guaranteed source of fun left in life,” before watching it together.

Joo Woo-jae then asked Ahn Jae-hyun whether he knew the storyline of the music video beforehand. Ahn replied, “I had no idea at all. While filming, in the final scene, I was just riding next to In-guk while looking forward. I thought I was playing a ghost. It turned out to be part of the director’s bigger plan.”

Following the release of the music video, both Seo In-guk and Ahn Jae-hyun gained the nickname “World Gay.” Ahn, who gained wider recognition through the project, said, “Whenever I work with K.Will, things seem to go well. My Love from the Star and The Beauty Inside he sang the OSTs for both, and they were all successful.”

Ahn Jae-hyun also revealed that even before the “World Gay” label, there had already been rumors about his sexuality during his modeling days. He explained, “In the modeling industry, you often have to pull off both menswear and womenswear. If you do it well, rumors start to spread at some point. For me, it happened when I felt like, ‘I’m really doing well at my job.’”

Joo Woo-jae added, “That’s inevitable. In women’s shows, there are usually only two or three male models, and he was always among them.”

When asked about his weight during his slimmest days, Ahn Jae-hyun shared, “When I was really thin during my modeling career, I was 64 kg at 186 cm, and during collection season, I went down to 60 kg. When you lose that much weight, your hands shake when you get home because you haven’t eaten much.”

K.Will expressed concern, saying, “Why would you not eat to the point your hands shake?” However, Hong Jin-kyung explained, “For runway shows, you have to be extremely thin to look good on stage. Clothes fit better that way,” speaking from experience in the modeling world.
