Scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026, JTBC’s upcoming drama The Final Table follows a group of Korean chefs from around the world who gather to compete in “The Table: K-Chef 2026,” a high-stakes culinary competition to determine the best Korean chef. The series has confirmed a strong cast lineup including Ahn Hyo Seop, Hong Hwa Yeon, Chang Ryul, and Jung Yoo Jin.
Ahn Hyo Seop will take on the role of Kang Han, an overseas chef known for his global experience. Having built his career abroad, Kang Han is forced into the competition after an unexpected incident, representing the restaurant Familia. As he enters the fierce contest, viewers are left wondering whether his unique culinary style can win over the judges. Anticipation is high for Ahn Hyo Seop’s return in a completely new role.
