Ahn Hyo-seop has confirmed his appearance in Netflix’s “A Time Called You”.
“A Time Called You” is a time slip romance in which fate arranges for Jun-hee, a depressed girl whose boyfriend passed away a year ago, to travel back in time to 1998 and meet Si-heon, who looks just like her boyfriend. It is a Korean remake of the popular Taiwanese drama “Someday or One Day”, which has accumulated 1 billion views.
“A Time Called You” will be directed by director Kim Jin-won of “My Country: The New Age”, “Rain or Shine”, “The Innocent Man” and penned by screenwriter Choi Hyo-bi, who is about to make her feature debut.
“Someday or One Day” remains so well-loved that it is constantly talked about as a staple Taiwanese youth drama with a solid storyline, beautiful visuals, and nostalgic OST. The news of “Someday or One Day” getting a Korean remake also raised interest in the casting. Ahn Hyo-seop now draws expectations for his portrayal of the male lead.
In the drama, Ahn Hyo-seop will play two roles, playing the role of Koo Yeon-joon, Jun-hee’s boyfriend, and Nam Si-heon, a boy in 1998 who resembles him. ‘Koo Yeon-jun’ is an infatuated guy who only looks at Jun-hee for a long time, Nam Si-heon is the most popular figure among the girls to his good looks and cheerful personality.
