Agency Takes Legal Actions Against Impersonations Of Kim Jae-joong’s SNS, “No agreement or leniency”
iNKODE announced legal action against impersonations of singer-actor Kim Jae-joong’s social media account
On October 4th, iNKODE released a notice on its official SNS account, saying “We recently received reports on cases such as impersonations of our company and artist’s SNS accounts and activities, DM manipulations, as well as distributions of false fact and malicious“.
They added, “iNKODE will do our best to protect the rights and interests of our company and artist. We will take all possible legal measures against not only the original posters of malicious posts but also the distributors”.
The agency continued, “Since fans who always love and support the artist are also suffering mental damage due to this issue, we promise to continue monitoring thoroughly and take strict legal responses”, adding “There will be no agreement or leniency regarding the punishments”.
iNKODE also encouraged fans to actively collect evidence and reports of malicious acts against their artist.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae-joong established iNKODE together with CUBE Entertainment’s former vice president Noh Hyun-tae in May. In addition to Kim Jae-joong, the agency is currently managing actors Oh Ji-yul, Song Ji-woo, and Jung Si-hyun.
