After re-signing with JYP, TWICE suddenly dropped a teaser announcing their comeback on August 26th

Girl group TWICE will return with a new album on August 26th.

JYP Entertainment released a teaser image announcing TWICE’s first comeback in 2022 on their official SNS channel at midnight on July 13th.

Showing “BETWEEN 1&2” as the name of TWICE’s 11th mini-album, the released teaser image shows the phrase “TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT” above a lovely pink-colored switch, stimulating fans’ curiosity about what stories the girl group will tell through this new album.

This will be TWICE’s first comeback in about 9 months since the release of their 3rd full album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” on November 12th last year. With this album, TWICE set their own best record by rising to No.3 on Billboard’s Main Chart ‘Billboard 200’ on November 27th, 2021. The girl group also ranked No.10 on Billboard’s ‘Artist 100’ chart, proving their huge global popularity.

Nayeon made a new history on the Billboard charts as the first member of TWICE to make a solo debut on June 24th. Accordingly, Nayeon ranked 7th on ‘Billboard 200’ on July 9th with her first mini-album “IM NAYEON”, achieving the highest record among K-pop solo artists. She entered a total of 18 Billboard charts, including ‘Artist 100’ (No.5).

In particular, Nayeon became the first K-pop solo artist to debut at No.1 on the ‘Top Album Sales’ chart with 57,000 albums sold in a week and the only female artist to reach the top of this year’s ‘World Album’ chart.

TWICE recently drew keen attention by announcing that all members had renewed their contracts with JYP to draw a bigger future together.

After debuting in October 2015, TWICE has set numerous new records in Korea and in the global market, such as winning the grand prize at various K-pop awards, selling over 10 million in Korea and Japan, entering Tokyo Dome in the shortest time, gaining more than 100 million views with 20 music videos, and becoming the first K-pop girl group to perform at North American Stadium, etc. They are expected to further enhance their status as a global top girl group will full support from JYP in the future.

Meanwhile, TWICE’s 11th mini-album “BETWEEN 1&2” will be officially released on August 26th at 1 p.m KST (0 p.m Eastern time). Album pre-orders will be available worldwide from 1 p.m on July 26th.
